Who we are
Sonnet is Canada’s first fully online home and auto insurance company. We set out to change how Canadians feel about insurance and provide an easy, transparent and customized way to buy it. We’re a wholly-owned subsidiary of Definity Financial Corporation. Definity’s family of companies also includes Petline Insurance, Family Insurance Solutions, and Economical Insurance - a leading Canadian property and casualty insurer that issued its first policy in 1871.
We’re also ideas people who imagine bigger and better things, inspiring us to take chances and think innovatively. But it’s our employees who are the reason we’ve come as far as we have, and the reason we’ll go much further still.
